Two questions.
1- what solvent will remove radiator paint
2- who paints a radiator pink!!??
we initially thought it was white. It was after all in a room painted purple. But no, it wasn’t reflecting the colour of the room… It was actually pink. We did only figure this out after we had painted the room “boring beige”.
It’s a special solvent, called BUY A NEW RADIATOR (-:
How’s it going? I am currently painting the coving in the spare room… then a once over on the gloss and wait for the carpet fitters on Friday. and then (fingers crossed_ we will be there with regards the bedrooms…
Sorry we can’t be there to help you guys.
Pics or it didn’t happen!
Nitromors will do the trick, but watch out for things other than your radiator getting in contact (such as the carpet!). They’ve got it in B & Q in Cowley….

Oh and as for the other question- no idea, but I do know there are some strange people out there…
Things are coming along slowly. We hope to finish that room in a day or two. Seems like we were trying to paint over dodgy plaster and it peeled off with the masking tape. Now i’ve got to go back, sand those patches and re-paint them. Oh well that’s DIY for ya!
Photos to come Dave… We’ve not got internet for another week, so uploading photos via the 3g isn’t something that I’m looking forward to!
Thanks Martin, I’ll give it a go. It’s about the same price as a new pot of radiator paint, so it’s a toss up which will come up best.
Other than that, I think we’ve finished one room. Next stop, the hot pink room…
I vote that the hot pink room should stay. Think of the Slanty…
