Kate and I jumped on a plane last night and ended up in Belfast. Dave and Kate were silly enough to say “come visit” so now they have to put up with us! We’re yet to meet baby Ella, she was sleeping when we got in… but there are stacks of sings that she’s here- particularly all the brightly coloured toys.. there’s an orange cow looking at me now. moo…
Recent Canadian visitors blessed Kate with some Crispy Crunch chocolate bars. 48 of them to be precise (Thanks Wolf and Brad). I thought the bars might like to get a taste of their home country weather, so I put them out to enjoy the snow.
BTW, this snow stuff is excellent for chilling beer!
I got a bread maker for Christmas. It’s fantastic! I’ve made so many loaves that i’ve lost count. Kate reckons I should start cataloguing them – I do keep track of the recipes I use, but now I will start taking photos. I won’t continue to post photos (I did hear some groans out there… ) but this loaf particularly perked my photographic interest.
Bring on the not-at-all square loaf!
I’ll keep at it. Square loaves don’t necessarily taste better you know!
