Over Christmas I was pretty ill. I had quite a nasty virus. Given the weather wasn’t that flash, staying inside was a good option. I’m starting to understand why board games were invented…
So between Christmas and New Years Kate and I did this:

I know it’s very ugly… but it was a cheap “busy work” project. Kind of fun though… even if the picture wasn’t something we’d frame and hang!
I got a bread maker for Christmas, so i’ve been experimenting. Along with 3 other loaves, I made these…

Well, to tell the truth, Kate fashioned the snail…
Kate was also busy, knitting this:

Now our tea will be cosy…
More photos to come, we did actually get out and travel a bit. Even though the temperatures have routinely been below 0°C (it’s currently -2)
Well I have to compliment both of you and not for your jigsaw puzzle. Your bread looks delicious and Kate’s tea cosy is excellent. I guess with all those negative temps you would need a tea cosy or your cuppa would always be cold by the time you got it. How did the bread eat? I gather you used the bread maker to mix the dough then baked it in the oven. Would be very hard to get the dough to rise at present.
