Merry Christmas!
We chose to have pheasant for dinner this Christmas. Kate did the preparation and found a few surprises in the process (namely shotgun shot)
It cooked up lovely on a bed of oranges…
Our little Christmas tree is not yet up to holding his ceramic decorations, but I’m sure he’ll grow into the task!
Hope everyone enjoyed their day. I’m stuffed. But that’s the way I like it this time of year! Next year, I’m hoping for a white Christmas…

Well it’s a good thing that you weren’t here as Mum’s new Jimmy Possum table only has 8 chairs and we wouldn’t have had a seat for you two! And you wouldn’t have got anything as exotic as pheasant as we only had chook, turkey and beef.
It was 31 here so not much hope of snow, thank God.
It’s nice to be missed!
