It was raining Sunday so I took the day out to make hot-cross buns. Not at all religious, but I love these little parcels of fruity goodness!
Of course, you have to photograph your food, especially when you are happy with the outcome!

Do you remember Mrs Freddy next door used to make yeast buns every Sunday morning? Your buns look a bit rough around the edges just like hers. I bet you didn’t have a hole in the side of the firebox which went thru to the oven like she did.
Only half a dozen tho?? Wouldn’t take long to eat them.

Hope there will be some left by the time i get down there, i’ve been hanging out for hot cross buns since christmas when they started to appear in the shops!
